I would say most people on an LSU message board would tell you you're from the north if your north of Bunkie...

what I think is that you answered a silly question with a stupid answer and then tried to back that stupid answer by bringing in the Mason-Dixon line to make yourself feel better.
What was stupid about answering the question culturally ("Compared to Louisiana, for sure"), and adding the technically correct answer for accuracy? Has being accurate really become a misdeed here?

According to whom? Since when has anyone considered Tennessee "north"?

What was asinine about, "for sure"?

I'm seriously wondering where this "north of South Carolina" standard came from. TheDoc and LSUGradatlast are literally the only two people I have ever heard use or even refer to that as the standard for identifying "North" and "South" in the U.S.

In what way is Tennessee not the South? Or North Carolina, for that matter?

What makes South Carolina the demarcation line, and when did it become the case?

Sam Bradford is by far the best QB in college and will make the best pro QB. I'm a saints fan and would love to draft him for the future. He's that good.

KingJoey, don't try to make sense out of people that don't have any. Doc is just a little geek prick. He uses racism as a crutch when he can't think of anything else to say and if you have ever seen him you would know he is a twig with glasses that def never even played intramural football or gotten laid much. His nitpicking at your statements about north/south is as weak as his game surely is. Anyone with half a brain can tell you owned him this thread.

Oooooh, are we back to talking about quarterbacks. If that is the case, then I'll weigh in on that. I like Lee and he showed me some nice things last year, but to compare him to Bradford and McCoy is just foolish. Both of them also started games their Fr(RS) year and they were both pretty incredible those years. McCoy had a bad year in between but last year his completion percentage was over 75%.
Bradford has thrown only 16 int in 2 years to go with a staggering 86 TDs. The comparisons aren't there.

Man if I had known I was getting on the same side as the most hated person on the Rant I might have kept my mouth shut. But then I realize that just saying someone won the argument doesn't actually make it true.

Joey spanked em. I'll vouch for that.

OK back on to quarterbacks. I second Bradfords the best QB in College. Didn't an Oklahoma QB have good numbers a while back, win the Heisman and not even get drafted? Didn't they make an awesome picture of him getting smothered by some LSU defensive beasts?

Jason White was not a pro style quarterback. Bradford is helped by the fact that his Comp% is over 65 and stands 6'4". Even though the crappy NFL teams (Raiders, Lions etc) still put a premium on Arm Str, Accuracy is still the best attribute for any quarterback. That's why Phillip Rivers is thriving in SD and Matt Leinhert is sitting the bench.
