Actually Lee's TD/INT ratio was pretty much par for the course for SEC quarterbacks this season. It's almost 1-1, the only exceptions being Stafford, Sneed, and Tebow.
Lee was 6th in yds, completion% and rating. 4th in td's. Well, higher than that if you include his pick6s.
I'm not saying Lee hasn't made some really bad errors this season. I'm saying he's got the potential to be one of the top QBs in the conference before he's done here.

We need both of them. As we found out this year, even two QBs are not enough. There may be an odd man out with Sheppard and Garrett added to the mix, but I don't believe we know who that will be at this time, and it may take another year to determine. That's the scary part!

Shows the kid has character......I wish him nothing but the best. If he can grow from this year and not be horribly scarred, he will be damn good.

I'm amazed at how a few weeks without a game makes so many forget how bad it felt when JLee was tossing INTs every week.

We've got problems.

do you ever make a positive post?

I like Lee's statement, it kind of reminds me of the Troy game where he came out on the field behind 31-3 with everyone hating him—somehow he just shrugged it off and led the team to a win. I think the kid has the physical talent to be a fine QB, but whether or not it ever happens for him at LSU is another question. Still, I'm amazed at the his resiliency.

This kid's got the MOXY. I don't care what a bunch of message board assholes say. This kid has the characteristics of a great leader, and i don't care if he ever starts for LSU again. I'm all for the coaches putting the right guy out there giving us the best chance for VICTORY!! Whoever that may be....
agreed, you can tell his character by the way he (a freshmen mind you) goes to the sidelines after a pick and talks to the upperclassmen WRs and discusses the mistake(whoever's mistake it may be)

When did this happen? Did this happen on JL's watch?
I thought it was JJ that couldn't muster anything in the second half against Arkansas?

Based on Lee's performance, your clueless.
Really? Lee actually has SEC wins...even a road win.....JJ has none. I'm not saying that JJ won't or shouldn't be the starter, just keep it real.

doesn't matter, he will be third string anyway....but then again knowing Miles, he may start.
You suck at life.

But I know LSU scored a TD in the 3d quarter agasint Arky.

So I am assuming R.S. will come in and immediately be 1st or 2nd string.

You never know what could happen. the Big East and MAC have probably had better QB play this year!

IMO Lee is the starter next yr, with Shep running the RP plays (like last yr)
Lee played MUCH better when he was able to split time with Hatch, I'm sure that would help out any young inexperienced player.

based off jeffersons first 2 performances, we might see Lee by the 2nd quarter of the bowl game.
Jefferson at least moved the ball downfield, and didn't stare down receivers.

You're an idiot! Who would you rather besides Tebow, Wilson, Stafford and maybe 1 or 2 other QB's?

LSU will never have any offensive spark with Lee as the starting quarterback next season unless there's 1:30's left in the 4th quarter. Too much quickness and ability in front of him next season.

his quote reminds me of what Matt Flynn said a couple of years ago because he was behind JR
