Also funny that every JL drop is going to be documented and made into a book.

We've had problems with drops the last few years...its nothing new.

i'll repeat this since you didn't hear it the last time:

if the ball hits you in the HANDS (both of them) you HAVE to catch it.

at that point, it's not on the QB. It's on the receiver.
You do realize that there is an entire other team on the field.

Exactly how does the db play into your analysis?

I appreciated your defense of Jefferson, but Lee is the QB now, and you need to offer him the same support or else expose yourself as a huge fricking hypocrite.
I did not start this thread.

This thread is clearly an indirect swipe at a member of the team.

I know Doc and I have battled it out, yet it is still odd to see him promoting Lee and not JJ
Funny thing is at time of those arguments we ended up both being right

there is far too many variables to account for in each given play to have a definite fall guy.

this site only deals in definite fall guys, sir.

Less than 50% completion. Less than 100 yards

I just smile when I see posters who have ranted all off-season over games in which the passing game accounted for less than a 100 yards now jumping through hoops to find a way to defend that same less than 100 yards passing attack.

As to JL, he was ok, he seemed to get better as the game went on, and he made no costly mistakes.

In the interviews I saw, he handled himself fine.

As to the not well hidden jabs toward JJ, they seem uncalled for, a shame some feel the need to eat our own, and normal jerk like reaction. imo

just nice to see a post game interview without delusion, that's all.

Speaking of delusion (and I agree with you about JJ being delusional in post-game interviews last year), I remember you saying that Jefferson only had one good pass against Bama last year in that win. So don't pretend like you don't have some kind of agenda...

For the record though, I think Lee threw the majority of his passes real well the other night. He threw into some tight coverage and maybe they didn't all become completions, but that doesn't mean they weren't pretty good throws.

I just hope we get things clicking faster this weekend so Mett can get in and get some practice. That's probably the most important part of this upcoming game (besides actually winning).

Unlike some, my enjoyment doesn't stem from which QB or RB or WR or LB starts but whether or not the TEAM wins.

Therefore, my cup has been over flowing with enjoyment since bout 2000, but thanks anyway for your advice.
