Wow what an objective analysis of his play. Are you his sister?

Stop trying so hard to apologize for the guy. No one is saying he was terrible. And jefferson wouldn't have done much better in my opinion. But don't try to tell me he played any better than average either. You can put lipstick on a pig...

can say he played bad

It has more to do with just how he played. They actually hate that LSU handily defeated the #3 team in the nation with JJ

This.
JLee had a decent game, but I'll bet if you ask him about his performance, he'll tell you he should have had better placement on several of those passes. For some reason, there are alot of posters on here who are acting like JJ last year ... refusing to acknowledge that JLee had only an average game. One of the best things he did was protect the ball, and as has always been the case, he has the potential to get better and better.

It goes both ways I promise you. There's people that hate seeing average play so much that they scratch and claw for ways to make it look like he played better. And I'm referring to your willingness blame wrs and credit them with your new definition of a dropped pass instead of acknowledging that the QB threw an errant ball into great coverage

Exactly what I thought you'd say.
So now you'd like me to believe you created your "chart" objectively?

Than analysis jusn't be right. I mean it can't be. You're obviously his sister, like somebody already said. He was 10/22, and thats ALL that matters.

jm3, as a former wr/rb, anytime a ball hit my hands , and if i dropped it. It was my fault, not the QB's, and I would tell him so.....
just saying.....

Here watch the video, and tell me which dropped passes were errant, and thrown into coverage?

Clement had the ball so log, the announcers called it a fumble. He lost focus. The DB never touched OBs TD catch

I wouldn't call it a drop.

But that was a well thrown ball. In fact, I think that was his best throw of the night.

I'm so freakin sick of this "Lee was just ok" that its literally making me sick. And I'm not fan of either qb over the other. I have no doubt JJ would have had a good game as well.

Look, the facts are what they are. When the smoke clears from this barfight deal, what we're going to see is that a punk that got his head kicked in probably deserved it. At a minimum, he's semi retarded. You just DO NOT jack with a bunch of guys that have working there arses off for a month, and head out to blow off some steam. I don't give a freak of you're a Seal Team 6 member. You're going to lose that fight. But that said, Jefferson excercized poor judgement, and as a result, lost his chance to shine (which I think he would have btw).

The more I read these threads, I swear that that there are people on this board are upset that he did well STRICTLY because he's white. And I'm dang glad our team doesn't look at it like that.

Do these folks realize what just happened? We took a national media darling team OUT BEHIIND THE WOODSHED, with a qb that hasn't been practcing with the one's but for a week.

This team has the talent to run the table. Please, racebaiters, don't screw this up for us.

There were certainly some dropped passes and our passing game could have had better numbers had the balls been caught, but at the end of the day, all that really matters is that our passing game looked pretty good, despite all the BS going on around our team. Moreover, they never had the opportunity to get into a passing game rhythm because there was no need to do so since we started our drives with such great field position and we wanted to run the ball to keep Oregon's offense off the field. All told, this game should have LSU fans happy. We looked good all around.

This is the game that I saw. Thank you. All of these problems are correctable.

The people just looking at the stats and comparing Lee's performance to JJ's don't know what they are talking about and they don't know anything about football.

I am starting to think that many who post on the Rant are not that intelligent.

-Pass at the 1:13 mark to Boone was underthrown, though it was because of pressure, it caused the jumpball
-Pass at the 5:30 mark is to the wrong shoulder(nitpicky though)
-Pass at the 7:26 mark is underthrown cause he was throwing off his back foot and fading away. If he leads him it's an easy score

Receivers could have caught better especially Clement but his passes weren't perfect like people are claiming.

Get a grip kids. Did you see Drew Brees first three possessions of preseason - all 3 were three and outs. Point being it's early. JLee got better in the second half and the team's Offense overall will continue to get a lot better, sharper, and dominant. ChillTFO in the meantime.
