LSU only losses 2, at most three, games last year without Lee.

2 more you mean. Tenn and Florida. I like to think LSU would hold on to beat Bama but that's a toss up. 4-5 loss season would have made a huge difference in the perception of JJ I think.

Exactly what I was trying to say. LSU would have lost to Florida and Tennessee without Lee. The D2 Cowboys could have been the third, but I doubt it.

All press reports today say JJs still inaccurate as hell

Tigerrag

Offensively, quarterbacks Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee both showed fantastic accuracy this morning, throwing ins, outs and drag routes to the receivers.

Moscona didn't report any accuracy problems today and said Jefferson was more accurate than Lee yesterday.

Moscona

quote:

The offense rotated quite a bit too. The QBs began by throwing slants and out routes to the WRs. Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee were the two QBs in attendance with the same group of wide receivers: Russell Shepard (who took the first reps today), Reuben Randle, Kadron Boone, James Wright, Jarrett Fobbs and Odell Beckham, Jr. Beckam remained the only true freshman on offense to work with the veterans and continues to impress with his hands and fluidity. Fobbs struggled today with four dropped passes during individual drills. When the QBs rotated to work with the RBs, Billy Gonzalez put his WRs through blocking drills and Fobbs struggled here as well. Beckham and Boone were praised overtly during blocking drills.

For the first time in four years, I can honestly say that Jordanlooked better throwing the ball than Lee. He was accurate on run as well as in the pocket; he had more velocity; and he seems to have tightened up his delivery.

Reports are mixed on the QB's. We are getting reports from people who have various opinions on what is good. Are they expecting JJ to look like Peyton Manning out there with his accuracy? If they hold him to what he did last year(from what I've seen on the News2 video) he looks improved.

People freaking out or bragging over practice reports, then turning it into an argument is what is hilarious. I have no clue what some of you people want. My guess is there are people on here who will pull against the Tigers when JJ or Lee is playing.

I never pull against the Tigers. I'm just tired of hearing we had a 2-loss year only because of JJs running ability. BS!. JJ lost 4 games in '09. Would have lost 4 games (minimum) in '10, and will probably do the same in '11.

The only teams Lee ever lost to were ranked #1 in the nation, at some point in the season. Fact!

Based on last years play, my preference would be JJ in some situations, Lee in others. I don't think either will ever be a complete QB.

Jesus I can't wait for both Lee and Jefferson to leave. And that's no disrespect to them, I just want these tired arguments to go away.

He got yanked early in that game, and Jefferson played the majority. That cannot count against him.

JJ played in that game so obviously that was his fault to RobbBobb.

I am definitely a Mettenberger man at the present time. I don't have a lot of faith in the other two, but am tired of the conditional fanbase.

Are you kidding me? There is a debate on the MSB about Russell and Flynn right now.

It was 21-3 when Lee got hurt.

Jefferson had the only TD in the game for LSU.

Lee went out in the 2nd qtr, and never played another down that yr.

Shows one how biased you really are.

It's a shame Lee didn't have himself to bail himself out. He was stuck with JJ.
