Hey i would have to beg to deffer, I remember just a few years a geaux there was another QB that was always behind a Option QB... The following year he took LSU to a National Championship... And if my memory serves me right he was not that good the years before but had a stellar Sr. year... I think his name is Flynn

If I were Miles and the suspension on JJ was lifted I would try him at kicker just to frick with the media. I would let him kick off in a game against a shitty team and when the media asked me why I did it I would say that JJ had recently expressed an interest in kicking so I thought I would give him a try.

That would be priceless

For the sake of accuracy, Lee threw 16 INT's in 2008. The extras you posted may have belonged to someone else.

Just sayin...

I could see a 21-14 TD to INT ratio this year similar to Flynn in '07.

I honestly think Mett will see a lot of PT because I don't think Lee can make it an entire season physically.

We shall see

uhhh
1) J Russel was in no way, shape, or form an "option" quarterback. dude had a few good scrambles in 2006 but he was a pro-style qb from day 1
2) flynn always performed awesome every time he got in the game before 2007 (remember him being MVP of the peach bowl?), so your memory serves you wrong of him not doing well prior to being the starter

I agree with you that dude has stuck with it for 5 years and is finally getting his shot, like flynn did, but your reasoning just isn't right. flynn always looked extremely capable and balled out every time he got in the game prior to 2007. i remember a lot of people saying he should start after ole miss in 2005 (ignorant but true). hell, we were ranked #2 preseason when everyone knew he was gonna be our starting QB prior to the rankings being released.

Thats the best explanation of Lee that i'vs heard so far and its from an alabama fan. My friend I agree with what you said 100%.

I try to call it like it is. Tell me that kid isnt set up to succeed this year unlike those last 2 times he started for LSU. I hope he does well, just not against us!
