I think you know
I do, but I choose to "ignore ignorance" as much as I can. It is hilarious how many "if we just had a smart leader like Mauck or Flynn" posts there are on the Rant. Wasn't Davey a leader when Booty was not? I hate bringing race into any conversation because it somehow legitimizes that argument, but in the QB debate it is sometimes unavoidable.

Our O-Line was horrendous.
Also, what is worse: 26 more sacks or 49 points for the other teams?
I wonder on how many of those sacks did the drive eventually end up in points for us? None of those pick 6's ended well. J Lee stares down his WR's so bad I could jump on the field from the stands and pick the ball off. Is either QB great? No. I choose to play the one that doesn't put us in a 7 point hole the first 5 minutes of a game.

Nothing really.
But he also hasn't shown me that he is fat and slow and telegraphs his receivers. I will support whoever plays for us, but I can't stand to watch our defense get put in a hole by way of countless costly turnovers.

The disparity in physical talent make this a hard argument to make.
Stafford made some absurdly awesome throws. His picks were due to the fact he was trying too hard to use his freakish arm strength to needle in passes, much like Brett Favre. J Lee made mistakes because he freaked out in the pocket and went jersey colorblind.

No. He has a good NCAA arm. A good one, not a great one. Stafford had one of the better arms in the last decade of college football.

How many total sacks were given up in 08 vs 09? How many more reps did JJ get in 09 vs Lee in 08?
