Would you argue that Miles was dumb for bailing on Lee after "one bad game?"
If so...
Dumb? No. I think he was stubborn and had planned to give back the job to JJ all along.
I think he was dumb to pull Lee as long as he did in the Bama game, only to put him back in with a deep pass over the middle when he was cold coming off the bench.
History of Lee shows that when he gets rattled, if given a chance to redeem himself he will, especially when he wasn't 100% at fault on the first INT.

I just love the picture quality on this station . I had no idea they still record in regular definition . Might cancel my HD.

Anyone able to give updated stats for Lee after that drive?
Posted on 1/16/12 at 9:19 pm to Methuselah
Lee should be close to 100 yds right?

Lee should be something like 8/12 for 85ish and a TD if I had to guess.

Not really sure what history you are referencing.

His 2nd pick was down the sidelines, not over the middle.

Bottom line - J Lee looks very polished and accomplished and it's evidently killing the J Lee haters.

Hey Geaux, 7thward, beefense etc...
Take the shite somewhere else.

I think he is 8 of 11 for 77 yards. I could have missed one or two Completions by Lee.

I don't know of anyone that really hates Jarrett Lee.
I'm glad he's playing well.

First pick was a "slot to the post" with the defender pushing the receiver to the outside.
But don't get confused on the facts.

I stand corrected. I mixed up the two in that initial post. The first was over the middle following the botched snap.
The second was down the sidelines to Peterson and was underthrown as well as read by the safety.

He's done well in bringing the offense back after his mistakes. He did so his freshman year and did so last year.
In 2008, he did it against UGA, UF, Bama, and Troy State.
In 2010, he did it against UT as well.
Lee is a rhythm QB, JJ was an improviser. They had their strengths.
