I agree with the obvious maturity that apparently has taken place. The most obvious growth as a QB has been his looking the field over. I recall a few times seeing him look through some progressions on the play.

Of course he makes mistakes. Drew Brees had 20 interceptions as a junior, equating to about 1 in 28 attemps. Im sure Lee will throw more, we can only hope he can keep them to a minimum.

Lee made the right decision as that was the design of the play. I just don't know what type of OC would ever consider throwing that little fading wheel route to a 6'0" RB of all people. That's a pass you let your mammoth WRs go up and fight for.

YES. Thank God we have a fricking thoroughbred in our backfield. What he did on the goalline on chance #2 was above and beyond. If you notice, the protection collapsed entirely. Not only does he redirect himself and cutback againt his lane, but he lowers the shoulder at the line, goes mano a mano with a Tenn. lineman, and pushes the much bigger/heavier man into the endzone with him. What a player

OK cue the blame the receivers for every incompletion/interception Lee throws crowd. I remember D. Byrd was villified for dropping balls thrown into triple coverage and sandwiched with bone rattling tackles, failing to jumping 5ft in the air to catch poorly overthrown balls, not turning into superman to catch balls thrown 20 yards from his grasp, the offensive players for not being better tacklers to stop pick sixes, blaming the defenses for losses when lee threw 4 or 5 interceptions in a game. With all this said I hope LEE well, I'm just paranoid that evil lee from 2008 is going to come back and pee on our parade. He tried to show his ugly head(see the 4:50 3rd quarter) hopefully, crowton or miles hides him behind the trio of running backs we have and use playaction. I know florida will blitz early and often to get hits on Lee so we shall see how he handles the pressure. Geaux Tigers

I remember Jarrett Lee starting as a freshman, and how he seemed so much like a kid. He had young face, barely any facial hair, no facial definition, and some baby fat. He seemed so jittery

Recalling fond memories of a young boy's features is pretty creepy, yo.

I'll be honest, if Crowton wasn't our OC, I think Lee would be a much better QB. Some of his play calling makes no sense. On one third down and short, I saw every receiver running 15+ yard routes and Lee had NO checkdowns.

THIS.

I saw the same thing and remarked to my friend about it. I think that was the play that he had to back up and threw it off his back foot into the middle of the field. Why wasn't there a drag route or a safety valve? It was ridiculous. The rest of the game, we don't throw it more than 5 yards down field, but on like, 3rd and 5, we only have down field routes available. Unreal.
