Coming out of high school, Walker was not regarded as the type of prospect that would be heading to the NFL in three years. Very few are.

Absolutely no reason to burn Howard's redshirt this year. There are too many benefits to him spending a year in the system before being considered. Do you want to put him out there now with the patchwork team we have on the field? Wouldn't it be better for him and his success to let this rebuild stabilize before putting him under center in any meaningful way?
