No way. He's asking for way to much money.

Ehh he played for a shite team, got into promethezine after his uncle died, got over weight. He did bust arse and get back to his college weight. Tried out for bears but didn't make it.

But I just don't believe he wouldn't be better than some of the qbs I've seen teams trot out there.

He did nothing wrong at LSU and is actually one of the better qbs we've seen come through here.

Plenty of dudes that have done a lot worse still playing and worshiped by fools like you.

I agree.

Would love to see it happen but I just don't see him playing at NFL decision making speed. He could used his size in college and never developed that ability to cycle quickly through his progressions. After his bust he would almost have to pay someone to let him play. Cool story though if he did.

He was supposed the key building block to make them into a winner. You know like Bert Jones to Baltimore. Peyton to Indianapolis

But I just don't believe he wouldn't be better than some of the qbs I've seen teams trot out there.

Believe it! At least they try, show up for practice and want to play

What do you call a person with his physical talent, the payout that he got, and the lack of any interest in working to improve himself? Fool may be too soft a word.

I'll never understand this fan bases dislike for Russell.

Yes his NFL career was a massive failure, but he did some incredible things here and always represented the university well. It's just odd Flynn is regarded as a "winner" simply because that team caught the necessary breaks to play for the NC.

Dear Russell and fans, I do apologize for my behavior in this thread. However, in my opinion, if he comes back and works for free and somehow becomes successfull it should be for Oakland.

You have no idea what was involved in that situation.
Your right he did red shirt. You still have no idea why Randall started over him.

I like JaMarcus he is very nice guy. I will cheer him on because he bleeds purple and gold.

He dealt with a lot personal issues that derailed his career, the people on this forum that hate on him are the same fricks, that think they have everything figured out and probably the ones living in a trailer park.

Whatever he does in life I wish him the best of luck!

Can't believe a Canadian team wouldn't give him a shot.
