The fricking audible on 2nd down was the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

Chargers exposed that they were man to man coverage. Its exactly when a QB is supposed to audible. The guard missed his block.

They have been running it effectively all game, and JaMarcus really isn't that good right now. The Chargers have been stacking the box all game, and haven't stopped the run. The lineman might have missed his block, but he shouldn't have changed the play.

Wow, the Raidders are going to find a way to still blow this. Please do not mess up Russell's first 4th quarter game winning NFL drive Raiders.

It was 2 and 8 with under three minutes to play. There was no way that had a running play in. The strong safety for the Chargers crept up and followed the tight end in a shift which signaled that the Chargers were in man to man. Russell either switched the play or called a hot route based on the man to man coverage.

They did. They had too many men on the line not to run, and they weren't going play action in that situation.

ETA: It was 2nd & 7, in what was 4 down territory.

Thunderbird, he didn't have much of a choice on that INT. I guess he could have thrown toward the sideline on the first play. However, I guess they decided to go for it all.

Russell ended up playing better than the stats show for him. Got screwed on that TD taken away in the 1st half. But he has a LONG way to go as far as consistency is concerned. He can't go through long stretches like that in the 3rd of missing 8 straight passes.

He engineered a GW drive when the Raiders needed it and the defense just flat out blew it after playing a great game.

It's nice to see he has a competent o-line now. If he can get that kind of time to throw all season I expect he'll make great strides this year. Go Raiders!

12-30, 208 yds, 2 int's, passer rating 47.6.

Yep, that is a nice game for him.

Definite improvement!
