Jacoby made a nice snag in 7v7 yesterday at the senior bowl vs Mac Jones.

Guy in this tweet calls him a CB.

Great play. Jacoby was a great tiger and a great leader. Wish he woulda made a play like that against Mac in the regular season.

Edit: I realize that Jacoby is not a CB nor is he going to really play Safety in the NFL. I was more making fun of the guy that tweeted that he was a CB. He will be a LB in the NFL. I think most of us wanted him to play LB this past year.

He's going to be an awesome OLB/SS hybrid in the NFL. They covet that position these days.

I doubt he's played corner since junior high, if ever.

He's not a safety
He will play that LB close to scrimmage position very well in NFL - he will get drafted higher than people think

I also think McMath has a nice NFL career as well
He will thrive on special teams

I expected a more physical player out of Cox
I don't know if it was the step up in competition or not but he wasn't very physical at point of attack
He made some nice plays but wasn't dominant and seemed hesitant at times

LSU needs an alpha dog at LB - someone like Devin White that wrecks plays

It's always weird seeing what Jacoby is like now knowing that he started his career here as a WR

Mac Jones is going to be a terrible NFL QB. The next ball he completes with a defender within 5 yards of the receiver will be his first.

I’m not a huge Mac Jones fan but here’s one from this week that impressed me

He’s a lot like Simmons from Clemson. Will be a hybrid LB in nickel and dime defenses

I wish we would have tried McMath at safety. Big, fast, rangy and physical.

Why, he wasn’t physical at the point of attack for us?
Now he was great in space coveting receivers. I see him as a third down LB unless he learns to play physical versus the run.

Trust me we saw this guy playing safety and had difficulty covering fast Wr's and Rb's. HE will be a hybrid LB in the NFL.

He's not behind 5-6 5* OL/TE to keep his pocket "clean"

If Cox coverage skills can translate to the NFL. He will make a lot of money. He is a ball hawking LB. Its not too many of those walking the earth.

You're not wrong. Alabama had a NFL OL and NFL WR's. I do think Jones will be a pretty good NFL QB though still.

His play at the LOS was pretty disappointing.
