Here is a good one . Pulling for Alabama because they are in the SEC is like pulling for the devil since he is in the bible.

Uhhhh...not necessarily. I absolutely, positively HATE Alabama and wouldn't pull for them with a gun to my head. But I am considered a negatiger on here.

Had to laugh as I was talking to a mid 20'ish Black Bear fan yesterday in the gym & this topic came up. He said that he was pulling for Bama so that they could be the only team to beat them this season. Can give him that one. But when he added that whether bama wins or loses will not have any effect on the Black Bear's recruiting, long or short term, because Freeze is as good as if not better than Saban with recruiting, I just threw up my arms & walked away laughing. FWIW: he also feels The Grove is a great recruiting tool, as is Vaught Hemingway Stadium.
