The poster did not see the grades or the chart or have any independent knowledge of the facts.
He "heard" it from another person who came to his house.
If the player he referenced wants to post what he knows, I'm willing to take a look to see if he has personal knowledge.

You know, it's funny. I've supported JJ for a long time...I'd be on Team JJ for some of you...and even I said to my buddy next to me at about the 8 minute mark when JJ came back in with LSU in a commanding lead against Arky last Saturday, "Oh shite...Lee must have REALLY done something." That was clearly the point at which he'd have stuck him in, and it just felt like he was holding him out as punishment. Even I winced, but figured it must be something great enough to warrant it.
I guess grades sound like as reasonable an answer as anything else.
For his sake, as much as for the team team, I hope it's nothing and it gets straightened out and he's available.

THere is no way this is true for Saturdays game. He would not be ineligible until final grades post for the semester. Finals do not even start until next Monday. They may be anticipating a problem for a bowl game, but it would have no impact for the SEC championship. If he was eligible to play at all this fall, he is eligible until final grades post and academic action reports run which won't be until 12/15 at least.

Me too, I promise we'll need BOTH JL and JJ for Bama. Bama will be ready for JJ this time around if we play them again. It'll be good to throw in JL for a change of pace.

Is if possible JJ has low attendance scores because legal troubles that kept him out of class and/or off the practice field?

As a Professor, it is illegal to discuss grades or any other academic matter with anyone without specific permission from the student...including the student's own parents. Les (nor any other University official) cannot discuss and should not discuss this private academic matter, but CLM is handling it. Just like the "no comment" on the synthetic marajuana suspensions, he could not and should not have commented in any way.

During lunch with Les he was asked who was going to play the role of Murry during scout team this week, and he said Rivers will have the chance to do it. One would think Mett would be a better option, Wondering if its because Mett is taking some snaps with the first team incase JJ goes down? Thinking Les saw this coming.
