Sorry for the finger. Just busting your chops.

It's cool - it did need some qualification to actually liking them

Just out of curiosity, are you guys saying that LSU has never been called for a chop block since the Dorsey incident?

I didn't hate them after the Earthquake game.
I didn't know who to hate after JHoward.
I did hate Tubberville after Cigar
I hated Tubberville more after Chaz Ramsey BS
I hated that Tubberville left and my Hate Subsided.

If we did on your "best player" this Saturday it would be Karmic comeuppance (even though the Dorsey one was not flagged).

I'm not going to argue the point since nobody around here is going to listen, but hopefully the point was clear.

The chop block on Dorsey wasn't even flagged. Even you admit that it was a chop block and it wasn't even flagged. We've hurt other players, but I don't think that we have delivered any possible career-ending, illegal, non-flagged dirty plays like that one.

But my hatred began in 2006. Pitiful officiating.

Honorable Mention to September 18, 1999. Unlike the Jamie Howard game, I was there in person to witness 26 yards rushing on 21 attempts AND 4 more interceptions.

Me and 350 other students stayed until the very, bitter end that day.

I was one of the "350" that witnessed every one of Josh Booty's 58 pass attempts. That was an awful night that ended with the cigars on the field. Before this game, I thought the LSU-Auburn rivalry was an outstanding rivalry with some fantastic games. The earthquake game, the interception game, the barn burner game, the "bring back the magic" game, and the Cecil Collins/Dameyune Craig game (aka "the drive") all happened prior to 1999. After the cigar game, I lost my respect for Auburn. It's been about beating them at any cost since then. 2004 and 2006 just pissed me off even more. frick Auburn!

Now that Tubby is gone my hate is not as high on them like it used to be. I switched it over to Bama now. Hell, I respect all the SEC teams and pretty much hate them all when we play them. I like going to Auburn to play them. They have a nice venue.

Since I came home from school in second grade with an Auburn hat on that a friend gave me and I got a belt spanking by my dad and grounded from going outside or playing with any of my toys for a month.

He and I are not real close today!!!!

I've hated AU since the cigar game, the phantom call on the missed kick and the TD scored with only seconds left in the game on LSU's 3 yard line with AU beating LSU bad when they could have just downed the ball...been MIFFED since..GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.......

Same as you... So pissed in 1994. Of course I asked my wife to marry me in the student section before the 1988 game. (She said yes and 4th and goal was a TD)

Gotta spank that War Eagle/Plainsmen/ Tiger arse!

That was the night of me and my wife's first date. I made her sit in the car until the game was over, before we could go in the restaurant and eat. She didn't get upset. I knew then she was a keeper.

You're one lucky man.

I can't remember when the hate began for the barn. Maybe it was always there, but it has definitely grown over recent years.

Its not just all of the game shite that has happened over the years- its also the Aubarn fans. Every Aubarn grad I know is an a-hole. For some reason they act like they graduated from Harvard and their football team has no equal. Aubarn fans are delusional, they are educated in a cow pasture and their football team is not even the best in the most atrocious state in the union.
