Actually it's not.

If now is not the time to :

1. Do a post mortem and self-scout/self-critique...
2. Vent your frustrations and wacky-arse theories, valid or not...

Then WHEN THE HELL is?
Get it all out people.
We will all reconvene as grownups in a month or so...
How could it be any differently ?
Why would we want it to be ?
We are fans.
Some of us possess preternatural wisdom, others of us find it a challenge to consistently find our car keys...
No different than any other collection of human beings.

Last night has made me question why I fricking care so much. I'm really questioning how committed I should be as a fan because days like today aren't healthy.

Agreed.

But ultimately all I want is an answer to what happened last night. I'm just trying to understand what happened.

I currently want nothing to do with football. It happened after the loss to Arky in 2007, but lifted by the SECCG a week later. I think this one will last.

CLM is irreparably tarnished, though I still think he is a good coach and has earned the right to be here until something goes terribly wrong.

The team quit like a motherfricker last night. Jefferson quit. The o-line never played at all. And the D proved that it's generally good at stopping TDs, but not really elite in other aspects.

I don't even know if I'll watch the playoffs at this point. I've turned into a total drama queen about this (serious, no sarcasm). I didn't take calls from relatives and friends today.

I posted the same sentiment earlier. It's fricking dumb to emotionally invest yourself in something that's completely out of your control and that can frick up your mood for a week with no notice. I'm re-evaluating my idea of what a "fan" is. frick this shite.

I've reacted with humor, like I always do.
I think we are all entitled to react/ vent however the hell we want to.
6 months from now, not so much.
People don't need to have everything completely in perspective, 12 hours after a painful soul-shaking loss.
that'snot reality.

You're always good for some riveting psychological insight.

Please share with us your views on that abortion last night.

I'll be over it by tomorrow. Ready for the 49ers.

Was pretty damn bummed out over it until I got a referral to go see a patient not much older than me (31) who has had a massive stroke. Put it in perspective really quickly.

It was abortion-like.
I'm confused and feel like shite.
same as everybody else.
No great insights except a positive belief that the worst among us will latch on to the shrillest narratives and the best among us will probably wait for TIME/FACTS to give a broader perspective.
Not sure which camp i'm in....

The way I see it is that all programs get embarrassed at some point. We just happen to have it happen to us on a bigger stage with a lot of folks watching. I look at the positives, all those freshman/sophomores will be bigger, stronger, and faster. NO MORE JJ/JL debates... let that bitch die. A true QB running the offense. In General just a stronger damn football team. We have pac-12/Big 10 cupcake schedule and its looking good. You can't change the past and what don't kill ya only makes you stronger. Lol Maybe this maybe even to positive for me right now, but I gots to believe!!!
