Lately, Texas has owned LSU. Friggin tough being a Tiger fan this past baseball season. Had to put up with a ton of shite for months. Last time I saw them play football was in the Cotton Bowl and we got beat there too.

I watch games with the audio muted. I got sick of the endless promotions, tireless efforts to drive narratives, and idiots who have no business being in a broadcast booth.
Had to mute the Fla/Miami game - that pair was bad.

I don’t know that we’re an underdog, but that’s fine with me. I like it.

Underdog or favorite should not matter. Bring the hard work ready to stick someone attitude to every game no matter the opponent---that is the LSU tiger team I hope i see this year.

This LSU team has proven many times they’re at their best when they’re doubted.

what? in O's 2 full seasons we are 2-5 against teams that were good enough to not lose 5 or more games.

I’d be shocked if they’re not the favorite b4 gametime.

UT is as deserving of a top 10 ranking this year as Miami was last year.

Or Florida this year

LSU is going to embarrass UT and everyone hyping them right now will say well we all knew UT was replacing too much but watch out for them at the end of the year (after they’ve played 10 nobodys from the Big 2)

If Tigers are the underdogs in Austin, it should be no shock. It’s their home field and despite popular opinion, Texas is for real. Of course, our Tigers are no slouch, so this game could/should be epic.

Awesome.

That's how I like it. Reminds me of UGA last year.

If last night was any indication, the media has no idea who is good and who is not. No one knows what anyone truly has until the product is on the field for game 1.

As always many of y’all will be in for a rude awakening when the offense is working kinks out and no hitting on all cylinders right out of the gate. This is our 3rd offense in 3 years, there will be some struggles and kinks to work out and it won’t all happen in week one vs Georgia Southern.

I think there will be some minor kinks, but it's not some major overhaul like many are making it out to be. The main concepts are still the same, as it is still Ensminger's base offense. They are just adding upon the foundation with more spread concepts from Brady.

It is more adding a couple extra layers to the offense rather than a completely new foundation.

I don’t think the kinks will be major either but I also don’t think they will all be worked out against fricking Georgia Southern. I just think it’s unrealistic to think we will waltz into Texas and just light up the scoreboard.

The engine works pretty good??

Agreed though, it’s not an overhaul. Just fine tuning and focusing on letting Burrow do more of what he does well

Going to be funny when 30 is dropped in the first half

Man, do you really believe that LSU is adopting a new offensive scheme, and is just going to walk out in the second game of the year and run roughshod over a top 20 team? At their stadium?

I think a realistic hope for the Texas game is that our defense controls their offense most of the game. We only give up about 17 points. And our offense sputters but clicks a few times to score about 24.

I hope you’re right, though, because I am going to the game.
