Yea I’ve seen the rumors and they exist with every coach. Yet I see other things to the contrary such as kids begging him to stay. You can have the nicest coach in the world and a portion of the team will hate him because they don’t get whatever it is they want from him. What’s funny is that several who level this accusation fawn over the Sabans of the world. Why would the Biancos of the world allow their sons to play for him?

He can come back to be hitting coach but definitely not head coach.

Canni wasn’t a disaster. Canni is an elite recruiter with an okay talent development. Depends on his staff. I personally think you shouldn’t ditch Paul though but if you did Canni is a fantastic option.

Canni will not coach again at LSU for awhile, if ever.

Agreed. If people want to have the discussion it should at least be about actual possibilities. If you mention Cannizaro or Dean then you aren’t being serious.

I’m convinced that Andy C. would restore LSU Baseball to the top echelon in very short order. He is human— he’s learned from his mistake. Even President Trump made mistakes in his past. We elected him to the most important job in the world.
