I just asked a member of the 104.5 crew on Ronnie Rantz’s sports talk at Laberge about Daniels being ahead. He noted “it’s leaning that way but nothing is settled.”

TTT - I took him to imply. With no scrimmage today, Nuss has time to heal up but needs to soon.

It’s down to Daniels and Nuss obviously. Nuss is better at making progressions and pre-reading the defense. Daniels is better at moving in the pocket/feeling pressure, faster, and has more experience. IMO whoever can adjust the pass protection better is the winner of the competition

Thanks for telling us the same thing every Baton Rouge sports talk host has also told us. Your contribution is invaluable.

Whoever protects the ball will keep the job. These players haven't really separated themselves it appears.

How come there hasn’t been a better injury or full injury report. BK has mentioned a few…but they brought back in ALL the walk ons for the last week of fall camp because they have so many injuries???

Daniels is the starter (right now).

Let’s support him until he gives us reason to think he isn’t the guy!

That’s common knowledge it’s between Nuss and Daniel’s big deal

Some people are still not accepting it.

Somebody even posted that Brennan is not getting as many reps because he and the coaches have a deal to make Nuss and Daniels think they have a chance and stay happy.

I wanted to believe he was trolling, but I never can tell on this site. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Every single report says Daniels is taking a lion share of the 1st team reps. Nuss is still in it, but he’s injured and less experienced. The writing is on the wall…

Nuss and Daniels haven’t separated themselves but Daniels is ahead since Nuss can’t go. Depending on how long Nuss stays out Daniels will be ahead since he’s getting a lot more reps. Injuries affect competitions like this all the time. I think all 3 better be ready to play. We haven’t even played a game and we went from 4 QB’s down to 3.

If this were true Brennan would already be gone.

If Daniels isn't the best at reading defenses and getting the ball out accurately and on time then we have bigger problems than quarterback.

Where is he going to go? He has one season left. Last spring when he decided to stay, that was his last chance to leave.

He can’t just walk into another team AFTER training camp and be a legitimate starter.

Whoever gets the job tRant is going to melt and I will be here for the entertainment

Can it rival the days of Joe Mcknight committing to USC crashing the site? I hope so.
