It’s good to see LSU back on top

I don’t post here much, but I felt like I would offer an outsiders perspective on the season. College football just seems more entertaining when LSU is an elite team.
Week after week the Tigers put up ridiculous numbers, to the point where it just seemed normal. Truthfully, we may never see a more dominant team ever again. Growing up a Wave fan I didn’t always like LSU that much, but I’ve grown to appreciate what a great program it is and how much Tiger football means to the state of Louisiana.
Also I feel really good for Ed Oregon. He seems like a genuine guy who really loves his school. After all the criticism he took it was awesome to see him win a championship.
That’s pretty much it. I envy you guys and the joy you must feel being on top of the world. Without a doubt 2019 LSU was the greatest college football team of all time.

It's funny Tulane fan. I graduated from LSU in 1983 and couldn't stand your team back then and for many years after. In fact, though i never got the bumper sticker, I did believe the statement that I was an LSU fan and anyone playing Tulane. Totally different now in the last several years. I find myself pulling for you all in every sport unless you all are playing us. Anyway thanks for posting and Geaux Wave.

I think as the fan base ages, the Tulane - LSU rivalry is like a sun setting on the horizon. It just is no more. Maybe the occasional baseball series, but let's be serious.
I was very close to choosing Tulane for grad school (glad I didn't get saddled with those student loans though). No hard feelings here for TU.
FYI - the Tulane bowl unis were sweet.

I feel the same way. LSU and Tulane might never play in football again and rarely play in any of the other sports. I don’t understand why so many Wave fans harbor so much hate for LSU. I’m a diehard Tulane fan but I’m also a college football fan and I appreciate greatness
