It's going to suck if/when Duke takes Josh Jordan

I love this team, and I will be happy for Coach Jordan when Duke hires him (if they have half a brain). They would be foolish to pass on him. No one is a better fit for that job than he is. But dammit, I love watching him windmill our boys home. He's been great with recruiting plus coaching our catchers and first basemen.
This is not intended to be a negative thread. I'm watching replays, and he's a great third base coach as well. So freaking intense over there.

I think he would pass on plenty of jobs to stay at LSU. But he is made to be a head coach. He was there for a long time. It’s his home state. The job is perfect for him. I would love it if he stayed, I just don’t see it happening.

meh. not when Jay brings Nolan Cain home
Even if its not Cain Jay has proven he will bring in top notch assistants who im sure are chomping at the bit to work here.

I have complete faith that Jay will make a great hire to replace whoever leaves. I have had the benefit of meeting and hanging out with Josh Jordan. He’s a great guy.

Pretty sure he’s a candidate. But D1 thinks it’s Jordan’s job if he wants it. Makes sense that they are waiting on his season to finish.
