Ive said this 35 times.
Dont you think if JJ was capeable of doing all the things you mention we wouldnt have done it?
Gees man, a good portion of this yrs offensive woes falls on the players shoulders, not LM or GC.

When you go to practice every day and see why, then come back and tell us what you then think.

I see some sarcasm with this thread. Seriously who honestly thinks that JJ could have done better had we opened it up? B/n his mechanics, pocket presence and all the other issues we had and no o line, there is no way possible for that to have happened. Not to mention when we tried something different we couldn't even line up to run the play correctly. Also the meerkat was a major fail, we did about as good as we could do with the issues on our offense.

yes msutiger, we know you hate jj and want the best white qb to play. First it was lee, then he still blew balls. So now its cg right. JJ put up matt flynn numbers but i guess flynn sucked too

QB play is more than numbers. JJ couldn't read progressions, defenses, and took too many sacks. He missed too many open receivers.
When you played, how many delay of game penalties did ya'll have because your QB was confused and didn't notice the play clock?
Awaiting your reply.

hey bert when i played qb i actually had a coach who played to our strengths and coached my bad habits out of me. Its the oc job put jj in a position to succeed. Everyone can tell jj has trouble keeping his eyes down field when the pocket breaks down. Why not roll jj out and give him a chance to be succesful. Its crowtons job to coach. Also its not all jj's fault with the sacks. When lee was in there he took just as many sacks. Also through 9 games this year jj had only taken 6 more sacks than flynn through 9 games. Bert if you knew football you'd know that JJ's numbers are pretty good for a first year 19 yr old starter. Damn bama fans are sayin how great a yr mcelroy had. Him and jj hav identical numbers. Boy i wonder how good jj would look with just a mediocre running game and a mediocre o line. I'm by no means sayin jj doesn't need to get better, but msutoger doesn't know shite about football and continues to personally attack our qb who has no help.if you cant tell that jj has improved, then u dont wanna.

uh yes. There are some underclassmen that will add some bulk to the oline. Faulk will be an upgrade i think. We had a very undersized line this year.

When you see what Auburn did to Bama in the first half, you say to yourself, why can't our coaches keep someone on their heels.

At least do some kind of spread/confusion plays. Practice it and make it execute on the field.

I really wondered what Crowton/Miles said to themselves when they saw tape of that AU Bama game.

Is it Crowton? Probably some. Is it Miles? He's the head coach, so yeah, some there too. Is it the o-line? Yeah, some of that too. They had trouble run blocking and pass blocking at times as well. Is it JJ? Yep. Some of him too. He's athletic but from what Ive heard he's a very, very poor student in the classroom. That usually doesn't bode well for a young kid trying to play qb in the SEC. Why can't you guys see that there's some truth to what most of you are saying? You seem to think it's just one person or units fault but in reality it took a number of factors all dysfunctioning at once to bring about the perfect storm that was our offensive ineptness this season.
