After 16 years of Les Miles and Ed Orgeron... Wouldn't it be nice to have a Head Coach that was not some character or caricature, that wasn't just a "larger than life" personality that GameDay liked to have funny segments about, but was instead just a respected, cerebral, solid football coach that won games, and the focus was on the play and players on the field instead of him eating grass or running shirtless? That would be nice.
Like Nick Saban?

Too many Politicos, TAF, BOS, old player type of cowboy boots on the table influencers have had too much of a say formerly, in the who when where what..

Woodward doesn't play that way, is a cerebral, OLOM, CHS, LSU mind, will make a smart hire.

No more..

Other than the too brief Saban years, the closest we came was Arnsbarger and Cholly Mac (and look what fans did to him).

Yet people on here want Kiffin. Though I concede he’s a much better X’s and O’s coach than Les or Ed, he’s absolutely a personality first guy whose antics are only cute when you’re winning. What would the reaction be if he went for it on 4th down from our own 20 and didn’t get it

Honestly I’d be all for it because Kiffin actually knows what he’s doing on his side of the ball.

Need a coach that players fear or at least respect. Cant be their buddy. LSU is back to " were out of the title hunt so who gives a damn" mentality.

I watch football to be entertained so I enjoy having a Coach with a personality.

If Ed O goes, give me Urban. Don't necessarily like him and don't care where his hands have been, he can win titles.
