So how about we wait until that happens and see whether the game plan changes rather than bitch about it after the first game with a new starting QB.

Is it just me or did we beat Bama one game last year too? And what's our record against them the last 3 years?
A few imbeciles in here.

If we are not confident that we can take a 5 step drop and throw 20-30 yard routes against North Texas db's who are we gonna be able to do it against.
This is not about saving anything, the more you do something the more confidence you have an the better you get at it. Miles just will not throw the ball.

You mean that one whole team? The other best team in the country? That we're .500 against?
We're one of the best two football teams in the country, doing it in the hardest conference. When did that become not good enough as a college football fan?

Canes must have offered free box combos if he got 500 yards

Yes because 20 yard shots down the field were necessary to win the game.
Bubble screens and runs up the middle didn't result to a blowout or anything ...

Then they should probably offer that every game.

Im going by what George said, that it's the Les Miles gameplan and it will never change...if we match up against bama and put those play calls on against them, we will get eaten alive.
Like another poster said, it's good enough to win 90% of the games because you can just pound every other team in the dirt, but when you match up with a team , such as bama, who knows what you're gonna do and is ready, you sure as hell better have a contingency plan.
I can bet you one thing, we won't have 300 yards rushing and 100ish yards on bubble screens. We're going to need the vertical passing game.

With a new qb in ZM and the potential he brings....I think most LSU fans were just expecting more out of the qb positon and the offense as a whole and as for what weve been dealing with the 4 years can you really blame anyone?
To me, scheme wise we saw a whole lot of the same old same old. But as you said a W is a W.

Please look up our record against them the last 3 years and show me how you came to that fricking terrible conclusion.

I look at stats. We barely snuck out a win in tuscaloosa last year and we all know what happened in the championship.
9 points in 2 games last year with the game plan you're referring to. Also considering we have a QB who's strength is throwing the long ball, I would think they would alter the game plan a little...but what do I know.

You think we beat all the teams on our schedule running bubble screens and runs up the middle? You do realize UNT is terrible right? But hey it works!
