It took a lot of complaining to get Malvetto fired

As I recall, Miles did not see a problem with Malvetto. Not once did he acknowledge a problem with our sieve of a defense. It took a lot bitching by the fans before Chavis was hired.

The same is needed now to get a new offensive staff. Not just an OC, but an entire staff. I hope the fans, the boosters and powers that be force Miles to do this and do it now. Else, expect the toughest season in a long time next year.

Miles doesn't give two shits what the fans think.

He knew what the problem was he just wouldn't do it in the middle of a season. I hope for LSU's sake he understands what the problem is now. But sadly I don't think he does he'll blame it on execution.

LSU cares. Fans = revenue. Be it tickets, TV or merchandise.

The fans matter plenty in college sports.

Too bad that Miles need to be somewhat forced to do these kind of things. Stud is obviously the perfect yes-man for Les and does not put up any resistance whatsoever...Les will not be happy giving up the offense.

the only offensive staff i would keep is wilson and henry. the only reason henry stays is because he only had one year to work with our wrs

I like that idea. I like the idea of having a fan, booster/powers board running the team. They could tell Miles who to hire and who to fire and when. They could tell Miles what players to put in and which ones to bench. They could draw up the plays and put in the game plans. Then they could be wired into the OB's helmet on offense and the MLB's helmet on defense and call the signals. Kind of like that millionaire game show where the audience selects answers. We could put controllers in every seat in TS and send them out to Tiger fans who have left the game early so they could send in their plays from their cars. For a small fee fans that don't go to games could get one sent to them at home and they couold send their game time decisions on the interwebs.

It's Tiger democracy babeeee

I love that idea. I want in.

I love the insanity here.

His comments in Malvetto really stayed with me. He seemed defiant and oblivious of any concerns with the worst defense in recent LSU history.

I still am a Miles supporter but changes are needed offensively.

Shouldn't you be at the 10 win celebration party? Or did they change venues without telling you again?

So you thought our Malvetto defense was good and nothing needed to be changed?

I have no problem with people using their money how they see fit. It's a free country and if these financially well off LSU boosters want to withhold their support that's their right. Who are you or I to tell people how they have to spend their money. Whether LSU decides to listen is their right as well. It will all play out. If Les decides to keep the status quo there will be consequences for his team as well.

Statistically speaking, Mavetto's defenses were a shite ton better than the offenses that Les has trotted out though most of his tenure here at LSU

LSU cares

LSU doesn't care either when Miles is winning 81% of his games.

No question about it. It's a good thing he was forced to fire the 2 headed monster. Saved his job as that was the last year LSU had an offense.

Nothing could be more fun than sitting here and reading the irrational gnashing of teeth and rending of garments.

If Miles doesn't hire a new OC, he isn't around in 2 years.

The cycle that began in 2010 is ending now. There is little patience for rebuilding when you're paying what LSU was leveraged for.

The defense will be bad next year. Arkansas bad.

I'm really not that frustrated. Just concerned about next year. More of the same will not work on offense.

No, what you recall is he never said anything publicly, as he shouldn't have. He made a change after the season because he knew there was a problem.

Ah, not just no, but no fricking way should be get rid of our RB's coach.

I made the trip to Gainesville this year. It was perfectly clear at that game that LSU needed some new blood as far as offensive coaching goes. It's painfully obvious to everyone similar to Malvetto
