The defense will ALWAYS have more talent. That’s a product of the state of LA.
LSU had 5 guys on offense start the next season in the NFL and won nothing of significance. And I think 4 of them were rookie All-Stars.

So the fact that elite players want to play for him in his system should be used against him??
Actually two of his first rounders who were recruited by the current offensive coordinator committed and signed the year Aranda was hired.
But, the only thing people could use against him is having the talent and not having as good of a defense as some DC's who don't have 1st round talent and may be doing better. Or that's an idea I have anyway.

Just letting the guy know he will be labeled an Aranda hater if he brings it up. It's only cool to bash the offense even though the defense has much more talent.
So to be clear, saying that the offense was ranked 80th or lower most of the season is bashing it?
Is saying water is wet bashing water?

Irrelevant. The thread is asking why Eaux loyalists are so insecure regarding Dave Aranda’s status as an elite coach.
Then the usuals suspects come in saying “yes but Aranda has talent on his side of the ball.”
Who was the recruiting coordinator who failed to recruit offensive weapons ?

I don't know why people make shite up and immediately try to twist shite to fit their narrow-minded agenda.
To be clear, the offense returned 3 players who had started previously. Two of them were injured for a portion of the season.
To be clear, the defense returned quite a few players who had started previously - including two players who are not only predicted to be 1st round NFL draft picks but top 10 draft picks.
To be clear, one coordinator is making $2.5 million dollars a year. A lot more that the majority of head coaches in college football and is the highest paid coordinator. The OC is making a third of that.
To be clear, the DC is in his 3rd year of being the coordinator. The OC is not.
Any thing else you need me to be clear about?

Greedy and Devin White are Slinger's first rounders.
Any other dumb questions

Do you even know how long he was the recruiting coordinator?

This is the 4th year isn’t it? Yes I thought so. How many classes do we get to sign before we stop saying we lack talent ?

So you don't know the simple answer to my question?
Probably don't even realize that he was the Dline coach when he first came to LSU and didn't get to dictate what players LSU signed.

Seems relevant considering your comment.
No one is anti Aranda. It's a fantasy in your own mind.

Ah, but Slinger gets credit for White and Greedy.
Fricking clown.

Emery is one of the best players on Aranda’s defense?

. Why are you pretending that they're on equal footing
I'm not pretending that they're on equal footing at all. Steve has the harder road. Dave's puzzle pieces are largely in place. Steve is trying his best to assemble his. He's going into juco and getting grad transfers to desperately field a competent offense and instead of supporting the guy you shite all over him. So yeah that is some unmitigated hypocrisy right there and it sucks.
