I liked Dinardo as head coach. Just never understood why he couldn't get a good D-coordinator. He had the talent on defense, just nobody to coach them up.

Dinardo was the perfect hire at the time. High energy guy with the salesman skills needed to resell the program at the time. He doesn't get enough credit for leaving Saban with a lot of talent to work with they just needed the right guy pushing the buttons. Saban won the first SEC championship with a lot of Dinardo's recruits.

there wasn't any thing wrong with tepper , he had profesional grade DBs, but he believed in leaving the middle of the field wide open , LSU out played every body, they just couldn't make up for the free mid down field tds they gave up !
