Not a true rivalry, but the AU series has been money. It's a shame the series was not played more pre-1992. What about the Diesel in a losing effort against AU? Jaime Howard? Eddie Fuller catch? Burning building at AU? Moving the game in 2001 until later in the season and AU scratching the Tiger eye and Saban onsiding the kick off? D-Byrd catch for the win in 2007? Refgate at AU? The call on the PAT that gave AU the win and was never called again (the defender jumping the line on the kick and supposedly hitting the O lineman in the head)?

I love that series, as much or moreso than Bama/UF.

Definitely an exciting game every year, but in spite of the tiger eye issue, can't work up the hate for Auburn, for some reason. Tulane was definitely a rival back in the day.

Since my second grade teacher rubbed our noses in the Archie Manning shite, I've hated Ole Miss. Also hate Bama and Arkansas is certainly making it's way on to the list. Living here in Socal, however, nothing would please me more than kicking the ever loving shite out of USC!

We have a ton of rivals. I know not all LSU fans consider some of these schools as rivals, but others do. A lot depends on age and where you grew up. But damn, we have a bunch... -Alabama -Auburn -Ole Miss -Florida -Arkansas -Tulane

Let me putit to you like this, no one wants to be LSU's rival.

First there was Tulane, after some years of being competitive, and even going to the Rose Bowl, eventually LSU turned Tulane's athletic program into a wasteland.

Turn the page to Ole Miss. From 1950-1970 no other college football teams won more games than than Ole Miss ( LINK). Then LSU takes them to the woodshed 61-17 and Ole Miss' program hasn't been the same since.

We are rival killers.

Next...?

Please, who couldn't build up a little dislike for Tubbs? Then again with the proximity of AU to ATL I hear shite from AU fans all the time especially playing Scam last year.

Yea, if I had to listen to Auburn fans rather than USCw fans, I'm sure I could get lathered up.

I would say that Ole Miss would rather lose to LSU than lose to State...

...and would rather beat LSU than beat State.

THe reason we don't have a true rivalry is we don't have another Div. 1 FBS school in state that we compete against. Tulane used to be as big as any of the ones that are mentioned here. Rivalry games need the" We own the state for that year title".
