I cannot disagree with you enough. Etling needs more reps and more game exposure to continue to get better. He is light years ahead of Harris in terms of pocket awareness and decision making. He doesn't get rattled, even when he makes a mistake.
I'm happy we have him for another season, and hopefully the new coach will actually know how to coach up the quarterback position, and put these players in the best position to succeed.

With the coaching changes they should reopen the competition.
Dude certainly hasn't been better than Harris statistically and last game significantly eroded the "ice in his veins" argument.
The unforced fumble in a close game on the road is nigh unforgivable.

Etling can think for himself and process as the game goes along. Brandon seems like a good kid and all but he just can't cut it.
Time to roll with Etling and not look back. We've been needing a Matt Mauck/Matt Flynn/ Zach Mettenberger type of quarterback for a long time now.

For ya'll to think Harris is a better option than Etling is frikkin delusional. The fumble was a mistake, the ball slipped. It happens and probably won't happen again. Harris throwing the ball 10 feet over receivers heads happened multiple times a game. The offense flows with Etling. That shite never happened with Harris at qb. THose of you saying better coaching will help and that he'd be better, bullshite. You still have to process information and make plays. Harris did neither. SOme of you say show proof that Etling is better. Look at the stats dumbasses
