This is such a silly argument.

Here's a FACT that is undeniable.

QBs have been HIGHLY suspect under Miles. MULTIPLE QBs have been suspect.

Multiple FOUR STAR QBS have been suspect.

To ignore that when evaluating the QBs we have now is to evaluate shite by looking through a straw.

Uhh, I agree. Which is why the QB position needs to be completely wide open with the new regime. That is my whole point, Harris and Etling have both been poor at best, so we need to completely re-evaluate with a competent staff

Etling hasn't exactly progressed.

Chances we see Harris this weekend if/when Etling struggles

Can't help yourself can you. Etling is head and shoulders over Harris. As usual you show yourself to be an idiot.

Must be a teeeeny tiny fricking head and shoulders

etling also had 13 starts under his belt, and this were his stats

238/429 for 55%

191 yards per game

16tds 12 ints

110 rating against a big ten purdue schedule

Brandon Harris 2015 season

149/277 for 53%

196 yards per game

13 tds and 6ints

130 rating against the SEC

THEY ARE DAMN NEAR IDENTICAL QBS before this season, with a slight edge to Harris. Now, lets look at this season

Harris

13/25 52% 5.56 YPA 1td 2ints 95 rating

Etling

40/71 56% 4.37 YPA 56% 3tds 1 int 118 rating

Couldn't agree more. I literally gave him that out by asking if it was racially-motivated.

Yeah I mean once again, grouping Mett/Flynn/Mauck together as the type of QB we need is lazy at best. They're wildly different types of players - particularly Mett.

Throw out all the numbers that you want. If you are here saying that Harris should play over Etling you are a total idiot.

Screw the stats! Have you watched any games this year? The fact that people don't see how much better Etling is, blows my mind.

I am saying with the new coaching staff they need to both be back at square 1. Both have been equally poor qbs up to this point

TD to Chark was plenty long enough. He can make enough throws to be a competent college QB. He just has to hit them.

Harris has the best arm on the team, McMillan and Scott are in Etlings territory. Harris will never be a competent starter though. He's had too long to prove it and just can't do it.

start etling ot harris. would like to see scott or mcmillan in Dual Threat situational packages.

vs. 2016 Harris, sure, but assuming he hasn't forgotten how to do what he did last year, 2015 Harris - on the whole - was just as good, if not better, than Etling thus far.

Before bencoleman loses his mind, Etling should still start though.
