No that’s absurd.

It’s the Fiesta bowl against a team on a 25 game win streak.

It’s a chance to finish with 10 wins and finish in the Top 10

It’s an opportunity to go into the offseason with positive momentum

It helps set up a potential pre season top 5 ranking next year.

Definitely not a lose lose.
LSU wins are we have 10 wins.
We add another ranked team to our wins over ranked teams list.
We finish in the top 10.
We end a team’s 26 game win streak.
We defeat the 2017 National Champions.

Don’t be surprised if LSU disrespects UCF , gets a New Year’s Day morning hangover and get their arse stomped . Especially if O and his team are not motivated to play this game.

This. See Auburn last year.

I don’t disagree. If we win, well we should have won against a lesser opponent. We lose and we really really suck. This game is everything about us and not about UCF when it comes to national perception

UCF is ranked higher in the CFP poll as well as the AP and coaches poll. How is this playing a lesser opponent. Is it more shameful now to get beat by Gonzaga rather than Duke in college basketball? Same scenario.

LSU is playing whom the committee matched them with by virtue of their vote. UCF beat Auburn last year. Did Auburn have to wear a scarlet S of shame as a result?

Win the game and finish in th etop ten and maybe top 5.
Lose and finish in the top 15. Helluva a lot of teams would like to finish in eithe rone. No one expected LSu to do so before the season. Lets enjoy it and hope for even better next season.
