More worried about LB's than DL.

Will have to be balanced and win turnover and penalties to beat Bama

We must stay balanced.

Balanced and unpredictable is the key.

Bama's MO is no secret - take away the run, put the O in down-distance disadvantages, and then let the O pick their poison.

For the most part, our OL man-on-man will be ok. But our overall scheme vs theirs is not even comparable. Candidly, if we trot our the same plays/sets we've run so far, we may not make a first down.

I have no reason to think we're going to sustain drives for TDs vs Bama. Rather, we need to try and set-up some HR plays, e.g., try a jump ball with Armand Williams.

They held their own against USCe. They'll do all right against Bama. After a rough start, they're starting to gell. It'll be up to Mett and the receivers to hold up their end.

Poor argument. South Carolina defense didn't play their best against LSU. We allowed 258 yards rushing and 148 yards passing. Looking at the yards alone, that is not elite play. Now, your oline did hold well against us but so did Tennessee's. Tennessee gashed us in the air so please don't attempt to use the South Carolina game to make favorable arguments for LSU.

But according to you folks, our offense is inept due to o-line.

Am far less concerned about the Bammer DL than I was the USCe DL -Clowney & Taylor are monsters.

Won't surprise me if the Tigers are able to run the ball some. Not saying it will be overwhelming, but enough to maintain some balance.

Don't think so. Our new guys have filled in nicely.

their d-line will get about a 1 or 2 yard push into our backfield on every running play and their linebackers will swoop in to finish off the plays for a loss of 2-3 yards. Mett won't have time to throw, but when he does it will be way off mark, on the few that are on mark, they will be dropped (unless it is thrown to a bama player). But the good thing is that that will only happen on plays that aren't whistled dead due to a false start or delay of game.

It's sad that this isn't laughable/unbelievable. I hope it's not that bad.

me also. Hope they get some great inspiration and come out like a different team from what we have seen every game so far this season. It's possible. It's a home game, biggest game of the year, maybe some kind of magic will happen.
