Charlie Batch should start over Big Ben too!

Apples and oranges and you know that. For one thing NFL has to factor in age and contracts, and the age gap between Brady and Bledsoe was huge. Also, Brady will go down as one the all time greatest NFL QBs ever. Brady was clearly WAY better than Bledsoe at that point in time. Lee has not proven to be WAY better than JJ.

People just dont get what JL did to go from taking 90% of the snaps through 8 games to 5%.

I think it's a legitimate question, but some take it far, far beyond that. It gets turned into some sort of conspiracy, or "favoritism", or "unfairness", etc. I honestly think the coaching staff wants, more than anything else, to win. Doesn't mean they're always right, but it doesn't make them idiots either. Nor does it somehow make them dishonorable as some have suggested.

As I said yesterday, 2-3 more games and it ends. Thank GOd.

You actually want this season to end? That's how much this QB situation pisses you off?

It works both ways but in 2010 Batch was not playing that great, unless completing barely 50% of your passes 3 TD 3 INT is great....

I just wish we could have used the last 2 games to help JL regain his confidence.

What evidence do you have to present, other than beer talk among people that have never played football, that your statement has any truth to it?
What loss of confidence have you personally witnessed?
How was it displayed?

Racist? I don't know. Idiot fringe? Yep.

Really? a QB who was 1/3 for 6 yards prior to taking over the injury was WAY better???? a 7th round draft choice, who was a back up at end of his career at Michigan (not that I agreed with that decision since I did not like Henson)

Lee has not proven to be WAY better than JJ.

Lee had proven he was better than people realize, he is still 19th in passing efficiency on the season, completing over 60% of his passes and had a 3-1 TD to INT ratio I believe.

would hate to be a memeber of this team or future member of it and be in a situation where it appeared I was playing on borrowed time and the coach was looking for a way to replace me... AS A 5th year SENIOR.
Thats what alot of people feel has happened to JL this year.

And those people are completely wrong. The members of this team want to win. And each one knows his role on the team this season. Lee was the backup QB going into the season, and he's always been a backup QB. This year he proved to be a very capable one. But the coaches feel JJ is better and gives this team the best chance to win a championship. What is wrong with that?

Vocal minority. Talk to real life people not insulated by a keyboard and you'll see most rational human beings are very pleased with the success of our team and both QB's

If there are debates, it will be mett vs Randall. Rivers, not so much.

Reading the board, it seems like a lot.

I don't think it's that many, if you dig down deep you'd probably find that most of the noise on this board is coming from the same 6-8 people, outside of the occasional drive-by. But LSU fans can be a strange lot, I think part of it is the inherit distrust that many Louisiana folks have. They believe there is some underlying motive to every action, everyone is out to screw them.
