No, this is a stupid question and didn’t support the hire. But he has earned his job.

Not at the moment. But Woodward should look him square in the eye, as does the father of the bride, and VERY convincingly say, “You better not frick this up or your arse is mine.”

Well that's debatable but he's here and it's not practical to replace him. We'll see what happens this season. I think everyone is expecting a playoff run. If not Woodward will probably start looking for his own guy.

All he has to do is win and his seat is fine.

Last season won me over a little bit on O, and the thing I was disappointed with was addressed in the offseason with a resoundingly positive move.
Last season was good, OL was underwhelming per usual standards and so was RB, but we turned out a decent season. I think the floor for this team has to be playoffs this season, but what are the repercussions if you don't make the playoffs?
Recruiting is looking really good so he'll get another chance as he should if the program doesn't go backwards.

Jesus, the stupidity is overwhelming.
He’s not here to further divide an already fractured fan base.
Alleva had zero personality and awful rapport with the “Tiger Nation.”
Woodward has to get folks pulling in the same direction.
Orgeron won 10 games last year, finished #6 and is poised for a big year on the field and on recruiting trail.
We don’t know what will happen with Wade, the NCAA. Orgeron isn’t on his priority list. Some idiot suggested that Ponamski is probably scared shitless. Woodward could care less. He has bigger fish to fry. He isn’t narrowly focused on petty bullshite like the morons on the Rant.

Every coach that is coaching a top 10 football school is on the hot seat every year. If coach o underachieves he will be shite canned. If he loses 3 games he’s done.

Why would he be on the hot seat, from simply hiring Woodward? He will have a much shorter rope in my opinion, but he’s not on the hot seat yet. PM is closer to a hot seat IMO.

Yes if he doesn’t perform, a new AD always wants his own coach

frick Neaux.. Incredible.

It seems very unlikely that Woodward would replace O immediately after coming onto campus, but it feels now like O needs to have a really good year (10-2 or better I would think) in order to keep his job. With our expectations this year against a relatively easier schedule, 9-3 or worse very well may just put him in the can and put Jimbo in his place. I may be underestimating how much f king will play a roll in this, though.
Overall O has done a good job. Recruiting has improved every year. We are recruiting talent at the QB position. He has gone above and beyond to bring change to the offense. No reason for him to be on any hot seat. As of right now it appears the program is headed in the right direction.

Just be glad that the years of going 8-4 and without heads rolling may be done
Posted on 4/17/19 at 9:31 pm to Damone
11-1 all the way. Nothing less is the expectation
Posted on 4/17/19 at 9:38 pm to Atomicc
I pray too , we won't win 10 or 11 . Keep praying .

Don’t want Trashy Jimbo here. That being said O better have a hell of a season
Posted on 4/17/19 at 9:49 pm to iamandykeim
The head coach at LSU is only one bad year away from being on the hot seat. However, that is not now imo.
Posted on 4/17/19 at 10:02 pm to iamandykeim
Yep...were gonna put king of the clowns jimbo in os place...wait...maybe jimbo can coach all three sports.what a shiteshow the rant is...last I checked jimbos record, the last few years places him in the middle of the pack. He's been less successful than miles. As a qb guru, is there one of his students that's been successful in the NFL. I can't believe you are live people, much less lsu fans. You're in a feeding frenzy and alleva came out unscathed...and with a better job. O will be here for a long time..and that's gonna drive you crazy.
Posted on 4/17/19 at 10:11 pm to iamandykeim
I would say yes... but Alleva farted in the elevator before he departed and saddled us with a coach Zero extension that will make it harder to jettison his arse.
