I think this season proved that it will be attached to a song every season long. So if everything else is banned Lady Gaga will be too. It isn't going to stop because it was in response to taking away Owe-o.
I don't see the harm in the chant, but I understand why others don't like. However, it isn't going to stop so just bring neck back and don't ban it if STTBD is chanted and it will die off eventually.

or...we could un-ban everything, let the students chant what they want, and tell the tv companies not to mic the student section

Maybe so, its unfortunate but o well. Student Section will come up wit something new. And as long as were winning football games i could care less what the band plays or what the studnets chant
