This is a big part of Les problem. The job seems to big for him

Oh???

And what leads you to that opinion?

His national title he won a little over a year ago when his team went 5-0 against teams who finished in the top 15?

His perfect 4-0 bowl record with wins over #9 Miami, #11 ND, #1 Ohio St, and #14 Ga Tech?

Or his 47-12 overall record at LSU which is the best winning percentage, for a coach here over a couple years, EVER at LSU?

There is no way that JJ can go to the line and run the play called because the defense more than likely will not be set in the right position in order for him to run the play as called. That is why they have checkoffs at the line and change away from the play as called.

All this crap that is being said just goes to show how stupid this place is getting with each passing day. They they know more than the coach, they think they can coach better than the coach and that is why they are not the coach.

The Rant, the place to go when you are the next coach in line for the job @ your University.

WTF kind of standard is this. "Least liked".

Does anybody believe that Miles is not an honest man, who does his level best, with what he's got to work with. Miles may not be the smartest dude in the coaching stable, but he's a good an honest man. And it is that honesty and loyalty, that has swung the balance, for some of these blue chip recruits.

How many of yall would sell your soul, or the dignity of LSU...for an perpetual NC. (ha...a lot...probably)

Get a grip...if Miles can't coach up to our expectations, and his generous salary...he's gone, and should be. Free market competition. He won't complain. But it should not be personal. He don't deserve that. Don't forget the love, that time of that oh so cool fake field goal pitch for a TD. Just like Jefferson...they'll both learn, and come around. Maybe this year.

A head coach in the top 5 of salary and with top 10 recruiting classes should consistently produce a high powered & well coached team. Something we have not seen since 2007.

Last year, the defense was a huge liability. Miles brought in Chavis, Haley, and Cooper and after one offseason of preparation and a few games, we look extremely good in that facet of the game.

This year, the offense is a huge liability. Based on what he did with the defensive staff, I have no reason to think that we won't see the same improvement in our offense next year if it doesn't pick up through the next 6-7 games.
