yeah flynn only has the GB record for yards in a game against a playoff team
All that shows is that you can't say a rookie QB is more talented because of 1) what he did in college in a weak Big 10/ACC conference 2) what he's done in 1 half of football in an NFL preseason game, over a guy who is a 4 year NFL vet, all as backup to arguably the best QB in the league, and has had a game in which he set Packers records against a playoff team and in another start thrown for 251 yards and 3 TDs against the New England Patriots in 2010. I think it's ignorant to say Russell Wilson is more talented than Flynn right now. And stating the records he set does not follow the logic that he must be better than Aaron Rogers and Brett Favre. It follows the logic that he's proven much more than Russell Wilson has to this point.
Also, another knock n Wilson going into the draft was the fact he'd never been a pocket QB. How many successful option QBs have we seen fail at the next level? plenty. Sure his height was an issue, but that wasn't the only reason he wasn't a 1st round pick.

It's the 4th preseason game. They are sitting Flynn to keep him from getting injured. He will be the starter.

I think some of you are throwing out false hope and making it sound like the performances between Flynn & Wilson are miles apart when they are not. Sure I'd like to see Flynn start the season. But, R. Wilson is no scrub.

Yes he's in trouble. He has Pete Carroll as his coach and a team of retreads around him. He would have been better off signing a one year deal to stay in Green Bay.

I have no idea who will start. However, the talking heads on NFL and ESPN talk as if Flynn is the starter. I suppose if Wilson lights it up as the starter this week things could change. There are several starters around the league that have been less impressive than Flynn.
