Mike Detilier was on AFR yesterday talking about Tyrion Davis playing the LenDale White role and when Matt asked if Emery would be in the Reggie Bush role, Mike D said it's more likely that it would be Chase. A lot of hype around Chase right now.

Chase at slot/h-back makes sense. We keep hearing that Brady plans to rotate WRs through X, Y, H - no specific assignment to X Y or H - will be interesting to see that. Maybe they will usually be assigned, but occasionally switched up.

It can only be a good thing to move these guys around IMO. Anything we can do to find a mismatch is going to help Burrow get rid of the ball faster and it may also help break tendencies which will help keep the defense guessing some.

Chase has elite body control. I was very impressed with the catches he made last year.

The article I read said it was less about position on the field and more about who does what best.
Like if we wanna send a guy on a deep route we’ll line him up where ever we want and send that deep route.
The way I explains it sounds like we might be predictable but I think it means we’ll mix our routes between all the positions and out the best players wherever they will shine.
I am Wondering how involved Chase is in the RPO game. We didn’t run a ton in spring and he only caught 1 or 2 balls. He looked good when he did.

It is with the QB fo sure. This kid is the real deal. And Im optimistic with the WR's.
The rest including the offensive staff have a lot of question marks.

Optimism overflows among LSU’s offensive players, everybody’s juiced about the new offense. Texas toast!
