No we havent. We have won 3 SEC championships and been to 5 NCAA tourneys in the last 12 seasons including a final four.
Majority.

bullshite. If football or baseball go through a couple of losing seasons in a row, the stands would be empty.
Fact is, fans will follow a winner. If basketball starts winning, it will easily be the 2nd most profitable program at LSU.

During the latter Curley Hallman years, there were probably 50,000 or less fans at games. Very depressing.
If LSU baseball went through the era that basketball went through, the Box would be a morgue.
LSU fans are bandwagoners.

People bitch about the bush league look of the outfield fence ads but those things generate serious cash and aren't cheap. My company looked into buying space a few years ago and the sales rep said I had to buy more advertising in programs and other places for the right to buy an outfield fence ad. I remember the rep quoting the fence sign ad at $10k/year but that was a few years ago and didn't include the add-on stuff I had to buy. So there are what, 15 or so signs on the outfield fence = $150,000. Plus the Tony's sign and others behind the plate. Plus the scoreboard signage, plus the Dow Chemical Diamond zone sponsorshp, etc etc. All that shite adds up.
