That was in regards to Romero, meaning he won't be as under the radar as Scivicque was considering he (Romero) came from Eunice.

I agree, one of my favorite Tigers from the CPM era. Scivicque will be a valuable piece of the Detroit Tigers organization in 1-2 years. Look for him in 2018.

I think it is great to say that we have two catchers who we can rely on. Pap will continue to be the starter because he is an elite defensive catcher. Romero is a guy who will seem to catch one game every series. If his bat stays hot then no way he stays out of the lineup.

Pap was always great defensively. The only reason he didn't start last year is because Sciv improved his defense so much. If he hadn't then Pap would've started Catcher and Sciv would've DHd
