Any body that has said anything bad about JLee should feel terrible that is a 19 year old kid you see 30 40 50 60 year grown men bashing a 19 year old quarterback it is terrible. Its not his fault he was recruited to play at LSU if any of you old unathletic idiots could have played yall would have too. Yall should feel dumb cause thats how you look. Im not saying this to all fans but it is the majority im on the feild i hear the things people say it is terrible. THE DUMBEST FOOTBALL FANS IN THE WORLD ATTEND GAMES AT LSU
he throws the ball away the fans boo he throws an incomplete pass the fans boo i wish the fans who did that would not show up it would be better to have an empty stadium to be surroundes with dumb a**es

Lee has talent, he regressed due to confidence issues down the stretch. He can be a good or great qb at lsu depending on comp in spring. Retards say otherwise, no shortage in this thread.

#1 Thanks for explaining the reason for message boards.
#2 If history repeats itself, other superstar QB's have started very much the same way. If Lee can start seeing the whole field and feel the rush without actually seeing it, he has all the tools to be a great QB. IMO

Also, last year Matt Flynn rarely talked to his receivers on the sidelines.

And you know this...how exactly?

JLee is not ruined, imho. Now, here is a thought of mine, so just hear me out. I think his lack of mobility is a real problem, so how do you fix it? Too many (I'm not a football expert, just my thoughts) pounds on this kid imho. If he would lose about 15-20 pounds, work on footwork and avoiding rushers I think it would help him out tremendously. He looks kinda 'soft' to me, obviously nowhere near say a Brady Quinn. But carrying around that 'babyfat' has to be a detriment to him. What do you guys think? No flaming please. Just thinking out loud.

watching JJ was like a breath of fresh air on saturday afternoon.

yeah, those 2 drives for negative yards and a bunch of 3 and outs were awesome.

And the 3 points we scored when he took over as the full time QB.

Breath of fresh air.

I, too, worry Lee may be done mentally.

I can't believe some people are buying into this.

Lester Ricard is another solid example.

Ricard was a much better passer than Jefferson. Even at this stage.

what is considering lighting it up?

i have a bad feeling we lose tomorrow, actually.

ill be happy if he completes over 50% of his passes and doesn't turn the ball over.

lets say he goes 17-27 2 TD's throwing 210 yards, one running TD, and 30 yds rushing.

AND looks good doing it. making good reads, LOOKING OFF receivers, throwing the ball away or tucking and running if the play breaks down ect.

generally just doing all the things Lee has shown he is incapable of doing consistently.

the kid has a tremendous amount of talent but he's young....when he matures he'll be a very dangerous qb for any opposing team to handle...at least that's what i see happening

I wish him the best, but he doesn't exactly work in the crowton offense.

he has NO mobility.

kinda hinders the option plays huh?

He is a coaches son and a tough kid, reminds me a lot of Stafford from UGA as a freshman, he'll be a contender and the favorite to win the position next year. He'll be fine. With Sheppard coming in January, and JJ developing I think we'll have a lot more success next year at the QB position.

I think he will be ecclipsed by players with better talent pools ( JJ, Shep). I think he will be marginalized - he has been given his shot this year, and really had no progression of improvement. I think we will have a little better idea tomorrow. KC.
