I know he's hella lot more experienced and maybe faster... but Loston looked impressive in the spring game does anyone think Loston will find his way into Eugene's spot this season?

its a long season.
no one is going to play every down.

I can see Jai, but is Taylor better than Loston?
He'll make his way on the field, and will be there for awhile.

Taylor is going to be a really good Football player, IMO. He had some growing pains last year but he also made some plays. He just needs to get mentally more consistent, he has all the physical ability.
Cracking the starting lineup as a True Sophomore is pretty impressive for any position at LSU.

Loston has more potential than anyone on the D but perhaps PP...he will be a cog in the defense soon as he knows the position well...he will eventually be a Ist rounder as well as PP will...book it!

Jai will and should start.
Loston will get some playing time.
This is exactly the way it should be, unless there is a huge difference in ability, and this is probably not the case at this point in their careers.

ditto...there is no reason Ron Brooks should be starting over Claiborne.

The link is that I've seen him play and he is fully capable of playing in the NFL soon physically speaking...he is a monster tackler and has great instincts...this coming year will prove me 100% right on...book it!

Empirical evidence and football don't go together. Just look at the BCS system.

No doubt Craig is a hard hitting saftey, from what I've seen of him (UA all-star game, spring game) he drops people. But putting a true freshman starting in a complex role isnt the brightest idea. However dude should get on the field alot and I pray they put him on Special Teams so he can blow somebody up one time. He will bring back the hard hitting saftey at LSU

I think it has more to do with learning the position than anything at this point. Peterson didn't start until midway throught the 2008 season.
Plus, there's no reason to believe that only one of them plays this year. The amount of playing time they get can change based on who the opponent is or in what sort of in-game situation we're in as far as down and distance.
