Yes

I like it. I think the O-line will shift and be in flux a little and if you make that a 3-4 so much changes. Key will move to LB. Need bigger DE's so there will be just all around shifting. I think some of the LB's like Fiest may be inside.

Yeah I guess it shoulda waited till after NSD. Got overzealous I guess. Jumped the gun.

Heard some talk about Thompson getting moved to LB. Maybe just some thread with no proof. Can't remember if it was legit.

What is the infatuation that Pocic moves out to tackle?

Because he is our best O-Lineman.
He is long and rangy for athletic DE's.

Quinn should see (and has earned) far more PT than Johnson.

He was our best OL this year and stayed at center because he could make all the calls. There is still a lot to be determined. I think it will be good for the entire line to have to do some shuffling in spring ball with his absence. Moving to tackle isn't a forgone conclusion as everyone presumes.

He asked if it was weird
So the OP cares at least some.

Do another one with a 3-4 defense

However, I doubt that LSU is gonna run a strict 4-3. Probably a 3-4/4-3 hybrid
Posted on 1/20/16 at 3:27 pm to kevg33
I assume Key would play linebacker under that scenario? Do we even know for sure LSU is going to play a 3-4 sometimes?
Posted on 1/20/16 at 3:29 pm to little billy
What is most notable is how much depth we finally have on both lines. Always have it at WR and RB but our O-line and D-line will be so much better because of the guys that can rotate in and contribute.

I hope so...3/4 is much harder to block then 4/3..

This is what the Base will look like.
LE: Godchaux
NT: LaCouture
RE: Herron
LOLB: Key
ILB 1: Beckwith
ILB 2: Divinity or Fowler
ROLB: Neal/Bower
CB 1: White
CB 2: Tolliver/Jackson
SS: Jefferson (hopefully someone steps on and takes his spot)
FS: Adams
ETA: This is BASE. We all know Aranda runs a multiple defense but he will base his defense off a 3-4 there is no such thing as a 3-4/4-3 hybrid STOP saying this there is a name for it and its 3-4 under/over but it is definitely not a 4-3, completely different personnel.
Also passing downs will probably be a 3-3-5, 2-4-5 or a 3-3-5 with key walked up on the line which is very similar to a 4-2-5 (mustang)
And for the football illiterate people first number means number of down lineman, second is number of linebackers and third is number of Defensive Backs.
