Is it the scheme or the teaching of the scheme?

Missouri had at least two passes where there wasn't an LSU player in the frame.

Pelini has no idea what he's doing.Mike Bugar's defenses weren't this bad.

Pretty sure it is a combination of scheme, teaching-coaching, and game planning.

I am also not confident that our coaches know which players would be most effective running our defensive plan.

I don’t think they installed zone before the season. The plan was to man everybody up and blitz like crazy, which is a terrible idea against a modern passing attack. When they got burned v Miss State, they scrambled to install a zone blitz scheme. We saw how well that went this week. Couldn t get to the QB and had frequent miscommunication and confusion over who was supposed to be where.

Bad scheme, bad strategy going into the year, bad attempt to adjust this past week. So yea “all of the above.”
