Who's going to come in when y'all are up 36-0 in the 2nd half? Jefferson?

I think Coach Miles will make this decision, and it will probably the right one.

Oh, I have no doubt that we'll see Hatch alot (once he's healed) the kids got heart and wheels. He's more of an option QB, and runs it well. I think we'll continue to have success with the 2 qb system with Hatch and Lee. As for JJ, we may see him next week or more till Hatch finds the rest of his marbles.

I was concerned for the guy, but it was funny how he was reeling and juggling his mouthpiece trying to get off the field, and the coaches had to MAKE him lie down before he got to the sideline. I mean, he was OUTTA IT. Obviously not a career or even season ending type of injury, even at that time, imo.

I think the decision has been made.

The Advocate: Miles said Hatch “got his facemask yanked and was kind of stunned,” but should be fine. He said Sunday that Hatch “could not go back in” Saturday and miss today’s light practice but should be ready for the rest of the week.

I hope he is ready. I would hate for Lee to be injured early and have to depend on JJ to quarterback the team for the entire game.

The kid will be fine, it is part of football to get the snot knocked out of you. I got a chuckle when he was fumbling his mouthpiece. To anyone that has played football there is a good chance you know that feeling. Of course the Mormon comment was tacky, but getting a giggle out of someone who looks lost from getting hit hard is not IMO.

Im sure Hatch himself will laugh at the video clip

I wouldn't risk it. If Hatch gets whammed again he might be out for the season. Concussion's are seroius.

It appeared to me that Hatch was injured not from the tackle but after he hit the ground Brett Helms knee caught him in the back of the head/neck. Watched the replay several times. Check it out and see what you think

Are you sure Hatch's injury did not occur pre-game, from the looks of his play, that would explain a lot....imo

That's exactly what did it. It was a solid hit by the Auburn player, but that was absorbed by the pads. It was the knee/foot to the back of the head that knocked him silly.

I think he needs to go ahead and name Lee the starter for the rest of the season...thats the only way he will get better

Play, not play, it's moo st. I thought the funniest line of the night was when Mike Patrick said they're gonna ask him how many fingers and he'll say Thursday.

Maybe the Mormon/drunk comment was tacky, but I never got the impression that the ESPN folks were making less of the injury, they were just explaining how he was acting in terms people might understand. They pretty much said from the moment he dropped his mouthpiece and staggered over to the sideline that he was likely out for the game and there was a protocol to figure out how bad it was.

I bet he AH looked at the tape and laughed at himself because he didn't remember any of it.

Hey could you look two plays previous to that one? From what I heard the initial injury occurred two plays earlier and supposedly the following two plays Hatch ended up botching. I would like to know what happened two plays prior.

Our running game will be just as affective without the option and read option.

No need to risk injury with Hatch.
