Well...it was a perfect, incredible, once in a generation season for sure but I don't think its possible for LSU to stumble under the bright lights of being a national champion any more than they have since the game ended.

Alumni playing players on the field in front of cameras?
Check

LSU hilariously claiming the money was fake?
Check

Star QB hilariously confirming to media the cash received was real?
Check

Alumni arse slapping a cop in the locker room and getting charged for it days later?
Check

Losing your QB coach, DC, and half your players?
Check

LSU bus wrecking on the way to the White House?
Check

Whats next, breaking the trophy circa Auburn 2010?

Cheers on your natty and an incredible season. I'll be over here in the act like you've been there booth until November 7th.

Almost but nothing is impossible. Im sure many would have said this season was impossible for an LSU team before this year. Look how that worked out.

I don't want to have a better season. This one was good enough.

It was special because we whipped Alabama (in Tuscaloosa) for the first time in 8 years. I don't want to start another losing streak.

It was special because we won the championship that we didn't really expect to win. I want to go into the season expecting to win. Every. Single. Year.

It was special because it was played in New Orleans. I don't know when that will happen again, but I don't want to wait that long to get back to the CFB championship game.

I want our program to go to the next level. I want our program to be lumped in the same category as Alabama and Clemson are. I want #1 ranked recruiting classes every single year, and not to be looked at as a one year wonder.

All of those things mean that the next championship won't be as special as this one was. If we are winning a title ever 2-3 years, the subsequent ones won't be as special as this one, no matter how impressive the team is.

Should add 7 top 10 wins. Most in CFB history.

Beat the preseason top 4 teams. Only team to ever do that.

Snapped the defending champs 29 game win streak in a blowout.

Add those, and the records that Burrow set and we can screen cap this shite for anyone who wants to argue about the greatest team in CFB history.
