Yeah, either the numbers haven't been updated since the playoffs or else that algorithm needs some serious tweaking. There is some variable that is clearly being under/over-weighted.

This LSU team is in contention for one of the best in CFB history. Yet ESPN's magic number machine apparently doesn't even think it deserved to be in the championship game this season (even after dominating one of its top 2 teams). That's pretty embarrassing for whoever created the FPI.

It’s a microcosm of the state of ESPN and the vast majority of the media as a whole.

The clickbait, trolling, fake news content spreading has finally taken it’s toll on the American public.

It’s showed in their dying ratings #’s (forcing them to layoff a lot of people).

And it’s been even more pronounced in the emergence of popular content produced by amateurs / semi-amateurs on YouTube.

I'm still curious about who SVP pissed off to get relegated to the midnight Sportscenter. Maybe he's just not controversial and loud enough to be a talking head.

Didn't he move to L.A. to do the show? So, it's not so late where he is

Is LSU getting dinged for letting Ole Miss put up a bunch of points after being down 28-0 at the half? Or for giving up a bunch of points to Vandy? You would think what they did to Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson would negate that....

It's a symptom. Corporate America and their quest for the almighty dollar at the expense of ethics. The media is no different and the most offensive conglomerates on the planet. We live in a country that values money over everything else and it shows
