P.S. If there is 1 sec on the clock and my coach is telling me to spike it, I'm telling him to frickoff because I hate to lose...apparently it doesn't bother JJ

Miles is a lying piece of shite in this case. There's very clear video evidence of this idiot yelling, kicking his foot then yelling clock it. And, FWIW, I was at the game, when Toliver came down with the ball the clock had 3 seconds. There was definitely two "mysterious" clicks of the clock.

LSU fandom's 2 greatest quarterbacks ever: Bert Jones and whoever the current backup is.

Video evidence shows Miles calling for a spike, brah.

Why didn't he call it, then?

Hard to fault JJ for doing what his coach told him to do.

JJ and Lee both looked lost and confused under center

They just didn't know which defensive player the o-line was going to let hit him during the play!

What have YOU won?

What is it that makes you the ultra competitor?

That play never happened anyway.

Was it? Miles also said he did not tell him to spike it. Seems you have selective memory on what you want to believe.

JJ is going to be fine, with just a little help from better receiver play and a year more experience, he will be a top QB in the SEC soon.

Cause he phrased it in a way where the ref had no clue as to what he was saying?

JJ has become one of the targets....no need in worrying about these folks. Of course if he throws for a couple of 300 yard games, these same cats will be buying his jersey.

it just disturbes me when I hear things from D-han coaches that they felt he didn't have the mental game to play in the SEC

That's interesting considering JJ never lost a high school game and went 15-0 his senior year with a state championship in 5-A.

consider the talent on that team

I'm willing to bet a QB not SEC caliber could have went 14-0 in his spot

notice I didn't say he was terrible, just not SEC caliber...accordng to them

no, I think if he works hard he can show close to the same improvement JR had from sophomore to junior year. With an improved run game and pocket presence, its possible for JJ to be a 23TD/8INT guy next year...

but still lack the confidence that a starting QB should have from his team and fans

It's not a lack of confidence in Jefferson, it's a lack of confidence in the coaches. Our QB development has been terrible. Jefferson made the same mistakes all year, and Lee looked like he has regressed since last year. We see no improvement in overall QB play and that is a direct reflection on the coaches. Yes Jefferson makes mistakes like all other people, but the mistakes he makes are easily correctable with good coaching. He needs to be taught to step up in the pocket more and not take sacks.

I have full confidence in Jefferson, it's the coaches that I'm worried about.

It can be him. But it needs to be open in spring practice. Let's put the best player on the field.
