Stingley wasn’t in the top 100 players in LSU history. Potential was there but production was not.

It’s actually a solid take…you’re simply exaggerating. He had six interceptions and was the lockdown corner for LSU during that title run with some key pivotal moments as a freshman. Under better circumstances with a staff like this current one and avoiding the injury bug, Stingley had a legitimate chance to go down as an all time cornerback in college.

To me ricks looks pretty small and the highlights that are out dont look that impressive but I assume he must have done really well in camps. I'm actually curious what about his game makes him a five star.

Fact Mo Claiborne was a more productive player for LSU than Stingley. Stingley had the potential to be an all time great but just wasn’t.
